The XX To Play Marathon NYC Shows For Only 40 People

Have you ever gotten mad after finding out one of your favorite bands played a last minute, small club gig, only you missed it? Well, here's your chance to join a very tiny audience, and possibly be the envy of your friends and colleagues. In March, the xx are scheduled to play an impressive 25 concerts in only 11 nights, to just 40 people per show, at New York City's Park Avenue Armory.

As the band has revealed in interviews, and as their music reflects, they're a rather bashful group. Super-small, intimate dates could potentially bring out the best in the band. But as anyone who's seen the xx live can attest, they're already apt performers, regardless of audience size. However, it'll be an endurance contest for the group, playing two shows each weeknight, and three shows per night on the weekend. Tickets will soon be available through the venue's website, armoryonpark.org.

The xx at Park Avenue Armory:
