"The X Factor" USA 2013 continues Dec. 4 on FOX with the top six performance show. According to betting odds posted to Bovada Sportsbook on Dec. 3, Alex & Sierra are favored to win the season, while boys mentor Paulina Rubio's last chance at victory is the longest shot of them all.
Floridians Alex Kinsey and Sierra Deaton, who are mentored by Simon Cowell and make up the aptly named duo Alex & Sierra, are the season three front runners with 1/1 odds. They're enjoyed success with fans thanks to their creative, folksy arrangements of songs by popular artists including Taylor Swift and One Direction.
Two acts enter the top six show tied for second place with 4/1 odds. Included are Cowell's other remaining act, the manufactured boy band Restless Road, and Demi Lovato's powerhouse vocalist and performer Ellona Santiago.
With 5/1 odds, Jeff Gutt, who represents over 25s mentor Kelly Rowland's last hope at winning the season, sits alone in fourth place, while teen country/pop singer Rion Paige follows with 10/1 odds of her own. Paige narrowly escaped elimination after singing for her life on Nov. 28.
Bringing up the rear with 20/1 odds is the last surviving member of Rubio's squad of boys, Carlito Olivero. After singing for his life on Nov. 21, he evaded the bottom three following the top eight show thanks to a strong rendition of Ricky Martin's "La Copa de la Vida."
