"The X Factor" aired part four of the controversial "Four Chair Challenge" on Oct. 10, 2013. The top 40 was drastically cut down to a top 16 this week on "The X Factor." Last night, Paulina Rubio picked her top four singers during the "Four Chair Challenge." Spoiler alert, tonight it is Simon Cowell's turn to choose his top four groups. Simon Cowell will mentor Alex & Sierra, Roxxy Montana, Restless Road and Sweet Suspense along their journey to win "The X Factor" in 2013. Two of the four groups were created from contestants that would have otherwise been cut. The new groups, Restless Road and Sweet Suspense, were built the same way as One Direction. The other two groups working with Simon Cowell are Roxxy Montana and Alex & Sierra.
Restless Road is a country boy band made up of three male contestants. Andrew Scholz, Colton Pack and Zach Beeken are the three boys in the group.
Sweet Suspense is a girl band much like Fifth Harmony from "The X Factor" 2012. Celine Polenghi, Millie Thrasher, and Summer Reign are in this group.
Roxxy Montana is a girl group made up of three sisters from Detroit. Tenija, Tiara and Temperance Moton are the sisters, but Simon believes that Temperance is the star of this group.
Alex & Sierra is a real life couple who sing together as a duo. They have been dating for two years and are both from Orlando, Fla.
Now that the "Four Chair Challenge" is officially over "The X Factor" will go on a week-long hiatus. When the show comes back the top 16 contestants perform live and are voted on by the public. Locally you can view "The X Factor" every Wednesday and Thursday on FOX channel WAWS 30 in Jacksonville.
