'The X Factor' U.K. executives speak on Royal Television Society panel

Three executive producers from "The X Factor" U.K. are scheduled to speak on a Royal Television Society panel at Cavendish Conference Centre in London on January 22, 2013, at 6:45 p.m. Greenwich Mean Time.

The panel, titled "The Anatomy of a Hit: The X Factor," is open to the public. Tickets must be purchased in advance.

The panel is moderated by Paul Jackson, former ITV director of entertainment and comedy. The panelists are:

  • Siobhan Greene, ITV Studios director of entertainment/"The X Factor" U.K. executive producer
  • Nigel Hall, Syco Entertainment global head of television/"The X Factor" U.K. executive producer
  • Richard Holloway, Thames TV managing director/"The X Factor" U.K. executive producer

"The X Factor" executive producer Simon Cowell, "The X Factor" U.K. host Dermot O'Leary and "The X Factor" U.K. judges Gary Barlow, Nicole Scherzinger, Tulisa Contostavlos and Louis Walsh will not be in attendance, according to the Royal Television Society.

The Royal Television Society website has this description of the panel:

"This is the story of how The X Factor reached our screens told by seasoned and lively performers who have steered the show since its initial conception and planning through to the casting, music and staging.
