It wasn't too shocking that Miss Dynamix got eliminated from "The X Factor" U.K. in the episode that ITV televised on Oct. 27, 2013. In the previous episode, it was revealed that Miss Dynamix had been in the bottom two in the flash vote. What was shocking to many people was that the other contestant in the bottom two was powerhouse singer Hannah Barrett. Many people believed that Barrett would be one of the frontrunners to make it into the final five without being in the bottom two.
After "X Factor" U.K. host Dermot O'Leary revealed that Barrett was in the bottom two, Miss Dynamix and Barrett then competed in a sing-off for the judges. Miss Dynamix performed Swedish House Mafia's "Don't You Worry Child," while Barrett performed Emeli Sandé's "Read All About It" and broke down in tears at the end of the song.
Not surprisingly, "X Factor" U.K. judge Gary Barlow (who is mentoring the Groups category this year) voted to eliminate Barrett, but he was outnumbered by "X Factor" U.K. judges Louis Walsh, Nicole Scherzinger and Sharon Osbourne, who all voted to eliminate Miss Dynamix.
Meanwhile in this episode, Lady Gaga made her first appearance on "The X Factor" U.K. by performing "Venus" and "Do What U Want." The Wanted was also on the show and performed "Show Me Love (America)."
At the beginning of the episode, the show's Top 10 contestant acts performed Bruno Mars' "Locked Out of Heaven."
