Mike Sexton, Vince Van Patten, Kimberly Lansing, Tony Dunst and the Royal Flush Girls will be returning to The Bicycle Casino for its prestigious Legends of Poker championship commencing on Friday, August 25, 2011.

The eagerly anticipated Legends of Poker Championship is the second stop on the World Poker Tour® Season X schedule. The Bicycle Casino hopes that by following Borgata's model for a reduced buy-in of $3,500, combined with the recent success of re-entry tournaments, that it will fill its Event Center with poker’s most elite players, as well as enthusiastic players from all walks of life, to take full advantage of the second chance opportunity. The Bicycle Casino is projecting that this year’s Legends of Poker Championship prize pool will reach $3,000,000. The Bicycle Casino is also promising a first-class buffet during the dinner breaks of Days 1a, 1b and 2. “We wanted to give the players an elegant playing experience and return the Legends of Poker to its original glory.” says Director, Mo Fathipour.

The first few days of the Legends of Poker WPT Championship will have a feature table live-streamed on the Bicycle Casino’s world famous Commentators Bart Hanson, Dave Tuchman, Nichoel Jurgens and Adam Strohl will be in the Live at the Bike booth to discuss the action and interact with the audience. The final two days will be hosted by the World Poker Tour, although details are still not clear.

Poker’s information go-to-guy Kevin Mathers also will be in the field speaking with some of poker’s favorite personalities and keeping the fans up to date on Twitter stream. The Legends of Poker is part of on Season X of the World Poker Tour and the final table is expected to be televised on Fox Sports Net in early 2012.

New for 2011 is the Legends of Legends Special Event. Open to the public, the affordable buy-in of $500 (plus a $35 fee) gives poker enthusiasts the opportunity to win a seat into the televised WPT Championship Event while playing with their favorite poker legends. The Bicycle Casino has confirmed that last year’s champion Andrew Frankenberger will be in the house, on Wednesday, Aug 24, 2011, along with Allen Cunningham, Mark Seif, Michael Matusow, Jeff Madsen, David “Chino” Rheem, Annie Duke, Maria Ho and Tiffany Michelle, just to name a few.

Tournament players will have an opportunity to mingle with the Legends at the pre-event cocktail party starting at noon before they sit down to play for their WPT® seat. The top ten finalists will also receive a portion of the cash prize pool estimated to reach $60,000. Like the main event, the Legends of Legends is also scheduled to be live webcast on
