The works of Sir Winston Churchill at the Hallmark Visitors Center

A public exhibit featuring the works of Sir Winston Churchill is open at the Hallmark Visitors Center at 2450 Grand Blvd. The exhibit features his artwork and tells of his connection to Hallmark Cards, Inc. Churchill was the Prime Minister of England during World War II and a statue of him is located in the Plaza along Brush Creek at Wornal. The exhibit runs through July 31 and is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Saturday.

All Souls Gallery features Janet Manson at the gallery located in the All Souls Unitarian Universalist Church, 4501 Walnut. The exhibit closes on Jan. 17.

The Blue Gallery will feature three exhibits, “Kollabs” by Luis Garcia-Nerey and Anke Schofield, “Wonder Wall” and “Fight or Flight” by Amani Skalacki”. The gallery is located at 118 Southwest Blvd. The exhibits close on Feb. 1.

“Extemporary Contemplations” will be the featured exhibit at the Buttonwood Art Space located at 3013 Main. The exhibit will run through Jan. 31.

HAW Contemporary will feature two exhibits: “The Head on the Door” by Corey Antis and “Del Harrow” by Del Harrow. The exhibits may be viewed at the gallery located at 1600 Liberty. Both exhibits open on Jan. 10 and close on Feb. 22.

Featured artists for the Kansas City Artists Coalition are Sarah Krawcheck, Cynthia Bjorn, Christopher Troutman, and Michael Lasater. The gallery is located at 201 Wyandotte. The artist is featured until Jan. 17.

Kansas City Public Library features “Stargazing” by John C. Tibbetts. The exhibit will be at the Central Library located at 14 W. 10 and closes on Jan. 31.

“The Neighborhood” by Stephanie Bloss will be featured at the Kiosk Gallery. There will be an opening reception on Friday January 17 from 6 to 9 p.m. The gallery is located at 3951 Broadway and the exhibit will close on February 14.

“The Creative Observer” by William S. Burroughs will be featured at the Lawrence Arts Center at 940 New Hampshire in Lawrence. The center will hold an opening reception on Friday Jan. 17 at 7 p.m. The exhibit closes on March 2.

Prairiebrook Gallery will feature “Layers: the Way Things Art” by Terri Hallman. The gallery is located at 7900 Santa Fe and the exhibit closes Jan. 23.

“Ceramics Top 40” is the featured exhibit at the Red Star Studios at the Belger Crane Yard Studios located at 2011 Tracy. The exhibit closes Jan. 25.
