As the holiday season approaches, there are several family fun-filled activities available in the Houston area. One that never fails to get a lot of attention is ice skating. The opportunities are few and far between in our area, but this year The Woodlands can be added to the list of winter wonderland ice skating rinks.
The Ice Rink at The Woodlands Town Center will be hosting a special preview opening on Saturday, November 16, 2013 from 10 a.m. – 11 p.m. and Sunday, November 17, 2013 from noon – 7 p.m. to kick off it's holiday season of lights, wonder, magic and being one of the coolest skaters around.
Located at the northeast corner of Lake Robbins and Six Pines Drive.The Ice Rink at the Woodlands Town Center regular hours are:
Daily Saturday, November 23, 2013 through Monday, January 20, 2014 with operating hours Monday through Thursday, 3 p.m. – 9 p.m.; Friday, 3 p.m. – 11 p.m.; Saturday, 10 a.m. – 11 p.m.; and Sunday, noon – 7 p.m.
The Ice Rink will also be open during Conroe ISD school holidays, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve and New Years Day.
How much is The Woodlands Ice Rink?
Weekday two-hour skate sessions are $9.50 for adults and $5 for children 5 and under. Weekend sessions are $10.50 for adults and $6 for children 5 and under. All prices include a $2.50 skate rental.
Worried about the little ones? There is separate rink just for those children 5 and under.
Helmet and walker (children’s skate trainer) rentals also are available.
