'The Witcher 3' will have stories around every corner, says CD Projekt RED

In what is already setting up to be a game that will take days away from your life, The Witcher 3 is promising so much to gamers like depth, length, richness and a world that is 20% bigger than Skyrim.

Recently, The Witcher 3's gameplay designer Maciej Szczesnik discussed the game's depth and what people can expect from every region they enter.

"We fill each region with stories that are just around every corner. It’s something very characteristic to Slavic mythology that partially inspires the game.

"In Slavic mythos, you don’t need to venture to far away lands to experience adventures – something really amazing can live in a nearby forest or hide deep in the cave you pass by when you travel. We populate the world with adventure and this glues everything together," Szczesnik said.

We don't need to tell you how ambitious The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is setting up to be, but it could be epic beyond belief. When the game will launch is still up in the air somewhat. It's not impossible to think this game could end up being delayed, as that seems to be a theme lately, but we certainly hope it's on time.

The Witcher 3 is a next-generation and PC game only, so we expect to receive a true next-gen experience with Wild Hunt. For all of our latest exclusives, previews, reviews and features, follow us on Twitter and like us on Facebook. Game On.

Thanks, OPM.
