A few days ago, “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt” was announced through GameInformer, as it will be featured on the cover issue of the GameInformer magazine this month. Following the announcement of this title, rumors began to pop up across the Internet that led us to believe that this would be the last installment to this franchise.
It seems that these rumors are indeed false according to an interview that was conducted by Stooq on Feb. 5. PAP CEO Adam Kicinski states that the franchise will continue following the release of “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.” "The release of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will take place in 2014. Game will be released at the same time on the PC, and the new, powerful hardware and the new generation of consoles. This is the last part of the trilogy, in which there will be a grand finale of the story. But it is not clear at the end of the franchise. Franchise will continue.
As stated above, this title will be released for the PC and next generation consoles, the PS4 and Xbox 720. This will be the first title release on the newly developed REDengine 3, which has been crafted by CD Projekt RED specifically for next-generation consoles and the PC.
