Now that Sony has officially unveiled the PS4, we are finally receiving official word on various titles that will be released for this next-generation console. Speaking of which, the recently announced “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt” has been officially confirmed by CD Projekt RED to be appearing on the PS4.
As reported by IGN yesterday, CD Projekt RED has given word that “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt” will be releasing for the PS4 in 2014. Upon the initial announcement of this title, it was stated that this game would appear on “all top of the line consoles and PC in 2014.” At the time of the initial announcement of this title, Sony had not officially announced the PS4 yet, so CD Projekt RED could not make mention of this platform.
In addition to this, it is also been expected that “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt” will also be appearing on Microsoft's next generation consoles which is expected to take on the name of the Xbox 720. Once this system is officially announced, it is suspected that CD Projekt RED will make this confirmation.
