CD Projekt Red showcased more of the battles and environments in the upcoming next-generation role-playing game, “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.” According to a report by Computer and Video Games on Aug. 22, the latest media assets show off the capabilities of the Red Engine 3 on the PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
Several of the combat sequences were featured in the newest set. CD Projekt Red has made several improvements to “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt” in this particular element as the camera now does a better job at framing the action. New evasive maneuvers and massive spells (which can now be combined) also add a lot of depth to battles. The enemies range from human soldiers to mystical creatures.
Various environments were also shown off in the batch. Players will be able to explore big towns, heavily frosted areas, small villages, vast plains and more. CD Projekt Red previously revealed that “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt” is 30 times bigger than “The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings” in terms of the game world. As a result, players should have plenty of land to discover and traverse in the sequel.
The Red Engine 3 is a new set of tools to take advantage of the increased power of the PC, as well as the upcoming PS4 and Xbox One next-generation systems. You can check out the new screens of “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt” in the slideshow near the top of this article.
