Marcin Momot has revealed some details in regards to the new upgraded forums. According to a post from the official Bandai Namco website on Jan. 29, the community manger at CD Projekt Red disclosed that some of the company’s websites have been improved with a new engine.

Several features were added as a result. Users can now earn achievements in addition to having one account for all websites from CD Projekt Red. To commemorate the announcement, Bandai Namco also released a set of screens showcasing the diversity of the upcoming “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.” You can check out the new and old screenshots from the open-world action role-playing game in the slideshow to the left of this article as well as the full statement below:

The brand new thewitcher.com forums are something we’ve been working for a while now. I think that our wonderful community deserves an experience as amazing as the game itself. Besides the completely new forum engine, we are very happy to introduce additional features like one account for all of our services, i.e. thewitcher.com, cyberpunk.net and REDkit, seamless navigation between each room and an achievement system.

CD Projekt Red is getting ready to launch “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt” later this year in the United States. The sequel is being developed for the PC platform as well as the PS4 and Xbox One next-generation systems. It will be more open-ended when compared to “The Witcher” and “The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings.” Bandai Namco is going to be publishing the European release of “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt” while Warner Bros. Interactive Studios will be distributing the same product in North America.

The development team should then focus on working with “Cyberpunk 2077,” which is expected to come out next year at the earliest.
