Some new details have been revealed by Mateusz Tomaszkiewicz in regards to the moral choice system in the upcoming multiplatform video game, “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt,” which will be coming to the PS4 and Xbox 720. In an interview with Videogaming247 on March 20, the lead quest designer at CD Projekt Red disclosed that the sequel will be offering a deeper moral choice system. As a result, players will often have to choose between different “shades of grey” decisions. You can check out some screens from the first title in “The Witcher” series to be released for the PS4 and Xbox 720 in the slideshow at the top of this article and the comments from Mateusz Tomaszkiewicz below (courtesy of Videogaming247):

We’ve never used simple “black and white” moral choices in our games and The Witcher 3 is no exception. We are keeping “shades of grey” moral choices that are the key element of The Witcher universe.

Mateusz Tomaszkiewicz and the rest of his team at CD Projekt Red are responsible for the development of “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.” The action role-playing game will be released for the PC, in addition to the aforementioned PS4 and Xbox 720, in 2014.
