The winners of the 70th Annual Golden Globe Awards

The actors and actresses came out for a night of awards hosted by the Saturday Night Live duo Tina Fey and Amy Poehler.

The evening started off with light jokes ranging from jokes from Les Misérables, Meryl Streep having the flu, and the fact that they were rivals in the same category.

Great Moments of the Night

  • Bill Clinton- was a surprise presenter during the award show, as he introduced the motion picture Lincoln.
  • After a losing Actress in a TV series: Comedy Tina and Amy took to the drinks and joked around with the crowd saying

"Everybody's getting looser here, now that we're all losers." Added Tina, "Taylor Swift, you stay away from Michael J. Fox's son! Or, go for it!"

  • Adele was all aglow when it was announced that she along with the team would win Original Song, Motion Picture, "Sky Fall" and talked about the addition of her son.
  • Ben Affleck -Even though he was snubbed by the Oscars, he was recognized for his achievements, when he received Best Director in Motion Picture, and Motion Picture Drama.
  • The most talked about moment during the Globes, was none other from the recipient of the Cecil B. DeMille award Jodie Foster. (You can watch the speech in the article above)
