The album was released August 13, 2013 by Warner Brothers Records, but the first single The Ceiling has been in regular radio rotation for a while. View the video in the box to the left.
With the rise of Mumford and Sons, the Alt Country genre has been on a crossover roll lately. Formed in 2010, The Wild Feathers are poised to be the next band that earns that distinction. Their sound has a warm feeling to it that just about anybody can enjoy. This five-piece has already played some major shows, and have a heavy upcoming touring schedule taking them to some many towns around the country just about everybody will have the chance to enjoy the live show also. Sasquatch and Hangout Festivals, as well as Milwaukee's Summerfest, Louisville's Forecastle Festival and San Francisco's Outside Lands are already under their belt. Coming up are Nashville's Live on the Green and the Austin City Limits festival, and all of that is before mentioning The Wild Feathers have played shows with Bob Dylan, Willie Nelson and many more.
The San Diego show will go down at the House of Blues September 11, 2103 with another new music sensation, the lovely lady ZZ Ward. It promises to be one of the more memorable concerts San Diego has seen, and a night not to be missed.
