Today we discovered something new: the Wii date. We were home, tired and we had ordered the Wii Console and Wii Fit Plus bundle for the New Year so we could all get fit. None of us were video game people nor had we ever had or played nintendo. So, after trying out the Wii Fit exercises, we started exploring the games section.
Well, before you know it we were playing bowling, golf and boxing. It was really fun. We were able to create our own cartoon characters to represent us, choosing the eyes, height, eyebrows etc.
Our 18 month old son was raising his hands laughing while we were playing and shouting ‘Mo’ (for remote) because he wanted to play too!
I browsed the Wii dvds available online and they have a lot of other fun options like cooking together, karaoke, family party games, family feud etc. This seems like great timing for the winter season. The Wii Fit Plus bundle and console wasn’t cheap (it’s almost $300, plus you need the Nintendo box too) but we got it as a gift. The Wii console and Wii Fit Plus bundle comes with the fitness workouts and games like bowling, boxing, golf etc. Then each additional Nintendo game in other categories that you order can be $20 or even up to $70 for some of them. But still, if you took a private cooking lesson it could cost at least $100 per couple (probably more) and this way you can have a number of reusable lessons at home for just $20!
So we had a great time on our Wii date. Maybe you should check it out for future dates.
My only complaint is that my husband won at all the sports so far. Some date.
I wish you the best in Love,
Paulette
