SIRIUS/XM satellite radio announced Tuesday it will launch a five-day, commercial free channel devoted to music and interviews of the Who.
The limited-run channel will launch at 3 p.m. ET Thursday (Feb. 4) and run until 11:59 p.m. Feb. 8 on Sirius channel 16 and XM channel 40.
The centerpiece of The Who Channel will be a live broadcast of the band's halftime performance at Super Bowl XLIV. But the channel will also feature music from the Who's five-decade-long career from their 1965 debut to their latest releases. The channel will also have special features such as interviews and live concert performances from the band's archives. Among these will be an exclusive interview with the Who's Pete Townshend and Roger Daltrey by Sirius/XM host and veteran rock writer Dave Marsh at 2 p.m. ET Feb. 5.

If you like Sirius XM, then see their rags to riches story on DVD. The movie is called Stock Shock and it goes over the history, development, and near-death experience of the stock. I did not know the inventor of sirius xm was a woman!well she is now, at least. DVD is cheaper at the movie site , but the DVD is pretty much everywhere for sale or rent.
