The Wellness Symposium This is such a wonderful idea to host and event which addresses your creative, physical, emotional and spiritual well-being all in one symposium. Well now it is a reality. The creators of The Makeup Show, and the Power Group will be hosting a Wellness Symposium. It will be held during the Springtime…a time of hope and renewal on April 6-April 9 at the Ruby Room in Chicago, IL.
Whether you are a long-time freelance makeup artist or hairstylist, just discovering the world of the beauty industry, or transitioning from another field - the stresses of creating a successful career can become all encompassing, overwhelming and detrimental to your well-being. Making better decisions, focusing on you and figuring out your needs, as well as understanding and examining your physical and emotional effect on the world around you is an everyday challenge for many of us.
In this unique, three-day program, James Vincent, Michael DeVellis and Ruby Room's Kate Leydon, along with experts from various fields of wellness, will bring attendees through a broad range of subject matter, all focused on creating a stronger sense of wellness in their life and career.
We will look at the idea of wellness in both extremely tangible and somewhat intangible ways including the areas of physical wellness (fitness, nutrition, stretching and yoga) mental and emotional wellness (stress management, self-esteem and meditation) and spiritual wellness (chakra, energy and healing work) and that is just the beginning. Attendees will be exposed to the techniques and given the tools to continue their wellness journey. Incorporating wellness into your work - for both yourself and your clients - is certain to help you set on a path to becoming a more impressive artist, communicator and a more powerful person.
This program will set you on a new path to being a stronger YOU.
