SATURDAY
Brick Yard Restaurant and Bar Opening
When: June 5, 2010, 10 AM
Where: 1787 Union St at Octavia
This may just be your new place to watch the game, nosh on upscale pub food, toss back some classic cold ones, and just bask in the posh living room turned bar interior. Opening just in time for the festivities on Union Street, they have an eclectic but rich looking menu and a 24-choice deep list of pints to begin the day off right. Look forward to unique sliders (Ahi Tuna Melt with Fresh Tomato and Gruyere Cheese), mouth watering appetizers (we're excited for their Apple Wood Smoked Quail with Plum and Black Pepper Chutney and Couscous), and pizzas you just can't find elsewhere (we've never even seen a Fig Prosciutto and Watercress with Shaved Parmesan pizza before, but damn we wish we had.)
