The weekend starts on Thursday for Miami cyclists

Get ready Miami cyclists because the next two days promise to be fun for all Miami bike lovers.

Critical Mass, the monthly bike ride event, will take place this Friday. The new route has already been posted on The Miami Bike Scene website.

This month, the ride will end at a new spot: The Filling Station Express. They will be serving food, $3-$4 beer, and wine. This new ending point is located on 221 NW 1st Ave.

Riders are encouraged to bring a t-shirt to have it screen printed with the Critical Mass logo. The printing is free for everyone and will be done after the ride at The Filling Station Express.

Before all the Critical Mass fun begins, however, there will be a 200 meter bike sprint in Wynwood on Thursday the 30th. Those interested in participating in the Wynwood Sprints should meet up at N.W 6th Ave & N.W 23rd st at 9:00 p.m. Bring a helmet.

It is $1 to enter the sprint and winner takes all plus a $35 tab at the Electric Pickle. After party will also take place after the sprint at the Electric Pickle. For more information on the prizes head over to Wynwood Sprints Facebook event page.
