Jan. 14th - Monday, "How I Met Your Mother", As Robin insistence Barney seeks her father's permission to marry her ahead of announcing their engagement. Through conflicted by this turn of events Ted takes it upon himself to plan Barney and Robin's wedding. Watch it at 7:00 pm on CBS (Comcast 5)

Jan. 14th - Monday, "The Big Lebowski, (98) comedy with Jeff Bridges. A loser's mistaken for a wealthy man and becomes involved in a kidnapping plot - ENC - 9:15 pm.

Jan. 14th - Monday -Bridesmaids - (11) Comedy with Kristen Wig. A lovelorn and broke woman accepts to be her best friends maid of homor. HBO , 7:30 pm.

Jan. 14th - Monday - A Few Good Men (92 - Drama). Tom Cruise are the two defense lawyers trying to break a code of silence that surrounds two soldiers. 7:00 pm. AMC.

Jan. 14th - Monday - Gridlock (97 Comedy) Tim Roth is playing. There are two addicts trying to clean up by enrolling in a government run detox program. TMC - 7:00 pm.

Jan. 15th - Tuesday - "Rising Hope". Jimmy signs up to take part in medical experiments in order to buy an engagement ring for Sabrina. While Virginia's habit of pawning off her own engagement ring comes back to haunt her, when Jimmy ends up unwittingly buying it. Watch it at 7:00 pm of Fox (Comcast 6).

Jan. 15th - Tuesday - "The Bourne Supremacy". (04 Action) Matt Damon. Bourne is blamed for murder in a failed CIA opoeration and goes on the run. 8:00 pm, and Sat. 9:40 PM.

Jan. 15th - Tuesday - "Braveheart" (95 Drama) Mel Gibson. A farmer organizes a resistance against tyranny if English rule. AMC - 7:00 pm.

Jan. 16th - Wednesday - "Supernatural" Castiel attempts to rescue a fellow angel, who has been captured and tortured by Crowley. Unexpectedly confronted by Amelia. Sam must choose between staying with her and giving up his hunting life or never seeing her again. Watch it at 8:00 pm on CW (Comcast 14).

Jan. 16th - Wednesday - 48 Hours, (82, Comedy) . Nick Nolte a weary cop springs a convict from prison to help track a down cop killers. 9:00 pm.

Jan. 16th - Wednesday - "Friday Night Lights" (04, Drama) Billy Bob Thorton. A high school football team faces intense pressure to prove their town's worth. 9:45 pm.

Jan. 16th - Wednesday - "Fill Metal Jacket" (87 War) Matthew Modine. Marines who make it through basic training face the realities of war in Vietnam. 8:35 pm.

Jan. 17th - Thursday - "The Carrie Diaries" . Set in the early 1980s this prequel series to "Sex in the City" follows the 16-year old Carrie Bradshaw through her junior year of high school after the death of her mother. Her life takes an unexpected turn after she takes an internship in Mahattan. Watch it at 8:00 pm on CW (Comcast 14).

Jan. 17th - Thursday - "Four Brothers" (05, Action) Mark Wahlberg. Four men revert to their criminal roots to get their foster mother's killers. BET - 6:30 pm.

Jan. 17th - Thursday - "High School" (10, Comedy). A pot smoking valedictorian discovers that he will be subject to a drug test. HD show. 8:00 pm.

Jan. 18th - Friday - "Fringe" This two hour series finale of the popular sci-fiction series kicks off with Olivia undertaking a dangerous mission ahead of the Fringe's team's final futuristic battle; with the mysterious Observer's. With the fate of mankind in the balance. Watch it at 7:00 pm on FOX (Comcast 6).

Jan. 19th - Saturday - "Get Him to the Greek". A sole intern (Jonah Hill) must manage over the top and out of control rock star Aidous Snow. (Russell Brand) during a trip from London to Los Angeles in this spin off of "Forgetting Sarah Marshall". The situation becomes even more complicated with the arrival of a beautiful model singer. (Watch it at 5:30 pm. on Comedy Central (Comcast 45).

If you have children watching TV will save you money that you would be paying a babysitter. If the temperature continues, you will be keeping warm, rather than going out for entertainment.
