Dine at newly renovated restaurant Distrito, re-opened to the public on Feb. 2. The restaurant, which was created by Iron Chef Jose Garces, closed for a week and underwent menu and decor transformations. Distrito is located inside the Saguaro Hotel and their hours are 6:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. for breakfast, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. for lunch and then they offer a limited menu of drinks and food until 5 p.m. when dinner starts. Or stop by Sunday through Thursday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. for discounted beers, margaritas and $2 tacos. To make reservations call (480) 970-4444.
Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art (SMoCA) hosts their free art Thursday, which allows visitors to explore their galleries. The most recent exhibit to open is a digital video projection entitled "MASHup: New Video Art."
The Arabian Horse Show returns to Scottsdale from Feb. 4 through Feb. 24. The show has become a Scottsdale tradition since 1955. Tickets can be purchased at the door or online.

The show consists of over 2,000 Arabian and Half-Arabian horses competing for prizes in a number of different competitions.
Cocktail lovers can rejoice, because cocktail week has returned. It began on Feb. 16 and will run until Feb. 24. There are a number of different events being offered, including seminars, tastings and happy hours. Tickets for cocktail week are $55 and VIP tickets are $110 (which gives full access to the VIP areas). Visit them online for tickets and more information.
Hotel Valley Ho's ZuZu. is taking reservations for their Monday night Chef's Table which will be featuring Sonoma-Cutrer Winery. The menu will feature items such as braised leg of lamb and Chesapeake Bay Scallops and each course is combined with a glass of Sonoma-Cutrer wine.
