The holidays bring time to be united with family and friends. When it comes to dogs, they tend to be with us all the time and when one strays away it can be devastating. People tend to go into panic and do crazy things to find a lost pet. This LaJolla women came up with an idea that worked and has a happy ending when she lost her Chihuahua, named Chispeta.
She stood on a busy corner for during parts of six days in La Jolla wearing a bikini to draw attention to her lost dog. It was a great way to seek the public's help in finding her Chihuahua. The bikini helped attract national news coverage. She got a call and found out a women had her dog and a reunion was arranged.
The lesson learned here was to have identification on your dog at all times and microchipping is a really good idea. The Chihuahua owner plans to microchip her dog this week!
