The Week Ahead January 8-14, 2012: Huntsville to host Ron White, Rehab

Huntsville, like the rest of the state, will be hosting numerous parties surrounding the BCS National Championship Game Monday night. (Roll Tide!) However, on this the second week of January, there are also other events, both athletic and non-athletic, happening this week. Here are the events for Sunday, January 8th, through Saturday, January 14th.

Celebrations Bridal Fair will be held in the VBC North Hall from 12:30-4:30 p.m. The event is being held by Modern Brides Inc. For more information, visit the VBC website or the Modern Brides Inc. website.

Huntsville Symphony Orchrestra will perform "From Brandenburg to Dumbarton Oaks...and Back" at Randolph High School at 3:30 p.m. The concert, part of their Casual Classics Series, will be in the school's Thurber Arts Center. Lewis Black, stand up comedian, will bring his "Running on Empty" tour to the VBC Smith Concert Hall at 8 p.m. For more information, visit the VBC website or Lewis Black's website.

BCS National Championship viewing parties, multiple locations throughout the Huntsville area will host viewing parties of the game featuring #1 LSU Tigers vs. #2 Alabama Crimson Tide in a championship rematch.
