Women’s History Month—March 1-31, 2013

National Women’s History Month sets aside the month of March to celebrate some of the achievements of women and to increase consciousness and knowledge of women's history. March Forth Day/National Grammar Day—March 4, 2013

The fourth day of March is recognized as a day to respond to command to “march forth!” March 4 is also National Grammar Day. Click here to read about this double celebration.

Jazz on the Avenue Series: “Starship Orchestra”—March 9, 2013

Jazz on the Avenue Series: "Starship Orchestra" features national recording artist and jazz composer, Norman Connors, accompanied by renowned jazz trumpeter, Tom Browne. The musical group will set the tone for the audience to experience a voyage back to the Seventies, as the Starship Orchestra merges the smooth sounds of Norman Connors on drums and Tom Browne on trumpet.
