Women’s History Month—March 1-31, 2013
National Women’s History Month sets aside the month of March to celebrate some of the achievements of women and to increase consciousness and knowledge of women's history. Middle School Month--March 1-31, 2013
What was formerly known as “Junior High School” has become “Middle School,” and this level of education is celebrated during March. Learn about Butterflies Day—March 14, 2013
Celebrated on March 14, Learn About Butterflies Day, offers an opportunity explore the amazing world of these colorful winged wonders. Most providentially, the annual Blooms and Butterflies exhibit opened at the Franklin Park Conservatory on March 9. Irish-American Heritage Month—March 1-31, 2013
Irish-American Heritage Month is a period set aside to recognize “the contributions made by the tens of millions of Americans who trace their heritage to the Emerald Isle.” Click here to learn more about the month-long celebration and to view a couple of videos showing the influence of the Irish jig in tap dancing and other dance forms.
St. Patrick’s Day—March 17, 2013
