"Cooking Matters," cooking class ia free class at 100 Mansfield Rd Cleburne, Tx 76031 from 6-8 pm, January 26-March 1. The class is taught in a real kitchen by a chef and nutritionist , the focus is on cooking nutritious meals. Also taught is how to plan and shop wisely. Sponsored by the B. Burleson Initiative, there will a diabeties class and support group on at Texas Heath Harris Methodist Hospital 201 Walls Drive, Cleburne Tx. 76033 on Monday February 13. Topics covered will be diabetes nutrition, meal planning, and reading nutrition labeling to maintain health. Learn about carbs, protein and how they affect diabeties. The Burleson library will again be sponsoring computer classes on Monday February 13, 2012 at their facility 248 Johnson Ave. Burleson from 10-11:30, This class is free but please preregister at 817-426-9207.
On February 14 , the library( see above adress) will be having an afterschool program for children 5-12 from 4:30-5:30 pm. The children will be doing a craft with the natural articles that they collected last week.
February 15, the library will also sponsor the " English as a Second Language" course from 12-2:30. The class is free and no documentation is required.
