Jason Bateman stars as a foul-mouthed man who competes in children's spelling bees in the comedy "Bad Words." Jim Broadbent and Lindsay Duncan are a longtime married couple who go to Paris to try to rekindle their romance in "Le Week-End." Chris Evans stars in the futuristic thriller "Snowpiercer." July 8, 2014: “Bad Words” (Same day as DVD; weeks before Netflix and Redbox releases), Rated R.

Jason Bateman makes his feature-film directorial debut with the subversive comedy "Bad Words." He stars as Guy Trilby, a 40-year-old who finds a loophole in the rules of The Golden Quill national spelling bee and decides to cause trouble by hijacking the competition. While reporter Jenny Widgeon (played by Kathryn Hahn) attempts to discover his true motivation, Guy finds himself forging an unlikely alliance with a competitor: awkward 10-year-old Chaitanya Chopra (played by Rohan Chand), who is completely unfazed by Guy’s take-no-prisoners approach to life.

"The Raid 2" tracks Officer Rama as he is pressured to join an anti-corruption task force to guarantee protection for his wife and child. His mission is to get close to a new mob boss, Bangun, by befriending his incarcerated son, Uco. Rama must hunt for information linking Bangun with corruption in the Jakarta Police Department while pursuing a dangerous and personal vendetta that threatens to consume him and bring his mission — and the organized crime syndicate — down around him. This documentary is the story of legendary cult film director Alejandro Jodorowsky’s staggeringly ambitious but ultimately doomed film adaptation of the seminal science fiction novel "Dune." Directed by Frank Pavich.

July 8, 2014: "Five Dances"

A coming-of-age portrait of a talented young dancer who leaves behind a troubled family life to join a small dance troupe in New York City, "Five Dances" is a creatively adventurous feature film by award-winning writer/director Alan Brown. Suburbia, 2008.
