The weight loss industry is enormous and bogus experts will do anything to get women to think they're fat so that they'll spend more money on losing weight. Opportunists include diet pill manufacturers, comedians and screenwriters who tell fat jokes, salespeople at gyms and weight loss centers, personal trainers, authors and publishers of fashion magazines that cover diets, books about diets and recipe books, doctors who do stomach stapling and the lap band, nutritionists, certain massage therapists, and those peddling bogus products like cellulite cream, weight loss perfume and tea, and shoes that will whip their wearer into shape. It's all bogus. The only people who are telling the truth are doctors who monitor their patients' blood pressure, cholesterol and triglycerides. If your doctor says that you're fine than you are.
The fashion industry is notorious for making women feel fat. Most popular brands are managed by homosexual men who have erased the female form by forcing their runway models to lose so much weight that they don't have breasts or hips. Their bodies look like teenage boys.
The amazing thing is that heterosexual men fell for it. The vast majority of men on dating websites stated their preference for stick thin women loud and clear. They don't get it: The push for skinny was created by gay designers and the ravenous weight loss industry.
Everyone has heard the myth that overweight women have low self esteem or they're suffering from depression. It's not true. Some psychologists joined the profitable weight loss bandwagon. They have to make a living too just like everyone else, and so even though they have a PhD in clinical psychology they lied about women in order to create a need for their services. Fat women don't need counseling, they need to go to the gym.
When a woman is truly overweight, as defined by a real doctor who has a medical degree, the most probably cause is lack of exercise. Women don't have time because they juggle too much. In the San Francisco Bay Area most women have a full time job with a long commute to work everyday and they juggle that with their kids, their partner, their aging parents, their friends and so on. That's all it is.
