The War On Drugs announced today that their third studio album, “Lost In The Dream,” will be released March 18th via Secretly Canadian. “Lost In The Dream” is the follow-up to 2011’s critically acclaimed “Slave Ambient.”

According to a press release, the new album, “is a familiar kick in the gut reminding listeners what music is supposed to sound like, making you want to run Rocky-style through the streets (or at least us anyways).”

The frontman for the band, Adam Granduciel, recorded the album in a span of two years, while also constantly touring with The War On Drugs.

The lead single, “Red Eyes,” can be streamed here. The album can be preordered on iTunes or Amazon.

The Philadelphia based indie rock group will kick off a 21-date tour of North America in their hometown the day the album is released. This winter, the band will be in Australia.
