In the 1930's an obscure German politician sought for the hearts and minds of Germany's young people for the purpose of a 'super state' through organizations which allowed boys and girls to 'breathe and feel fresh air.' Of course this 'fresh air' was in groups such as the 'Jungvolk' and the 'Hitler Youth.' This 'fresh air,' they were to breathe, moreover, was the 'air' first infused (through propaganda and brainwashing) after a necessary societal vacuuming! A vacuuming which Hitler, stated in his own words, would use to protect against 'a relapse.'

But what vacuuming are we speaking of? The vacuuming of God, family, and national tradition!
The Hitler Germany was a Germany void of purpose, a Germany relativistic, hedonistic, materialistic, void of God, void of family values, and void of patriotism for 'old' German traditions. And Hitler understood that young people were naturally hungry for: relatedness, transcendence, rootedness, identity, orientation, stimulation, unity and effectiveness. Subsequently, in a decaying society where God was demythologized, the family was trivialized, the Church was portrayed as the buffoon, and tradition was pushed aside, Hitler stepped in with his 'party' and 'state.'

Honestly, isn't the same thing happening today? Abortion, divorce, promiscuity, gay marriage, violence, relativism, religious intolerance of religion, materialism, hedonism, socialism, only touch the tip of the iceberg of American coldness toward God, family, and tradition. The vacuuming, started in the 1960's, is well under way! And our children are, by nature, needy--and those who oppose Judaeo-Christianity are all too willing to fill the world-made void!

Our only hope is to refill the void with Jesus! To help our children 'relapse' into Truth, Love and faith!
Our young people, especially our own children, need us, now, to re-introduce Jesus into the American society. Not some abstract Jesus--abstracted by our enemies--but the Jesus of the Catholic Church, the Jesus of the Eucharist, the Jesus of Sacred Scripture, of Truth, prayer, charity, of meaningful suffering, of repentance and reconciliation, found in the poor, in forgiveness, in silence, in contemplation of nature, in little things, and, especially, in Life itself!
That Jesus, this Jesus! is our only hope to protect our children from the next tyrannical kidnapping of our young people. God is counting on us...now!
