What: You’re invited to join The Walters Art Museum in honoring Black History Month through important African American women who have made our world a beautiful place through song, story and art.

Did you know? Black History Month is not only history for African Americans but history for all Americans.

Go enjoy the spirit of Baltimore’s own Billie Holiday and discover personal historical stories with local Baltimore slam poets. Go create an art inspired project by local women artists. Look forward to amazing performances, innovative art activities, and much more!

Who: Open to general public whereas, no registration required. Just walk in and enjoy the program.

When: Saturday, February 22, 2014 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
