The Mini Time Machine Museum of Miniatures is hosting a special event in April that features author and Disney historian Michael Broggie. He will present "The Walt Disney Railroad Story" at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 13, 2013. This is a free event, but space is limited, so be sure to register here to ensure a spot. The event does not include access to the museum's galleries, but they will have a special admission price of $5 on the day of the event.
Michael Broggie is the son of the imagineer and Disney legend Roger E. Broggie. His experiences with the Disney company include test driving Autopia as a kid, working as a ride operator at Disneyland, and writing in the motion picture marketing department. He has written several books including Walt Disney's Railroad Story: The Small-Scale Fascination That Led to a Full-Scale Kingdom.
About the Mini Time Machine Museum of Miniatures: The Mini Time Machine Museum has a variety of miniature displays including a fairy Enchanted Forest themed area. The museum regularly has events for kids on Saturdays that include making miniature crafts. The museum is open 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays and 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sundays. The first Thursdays of the month the museum is open until 8 p.m.
