So will Maggie's determination to find Glenn lead her group to more dangerous situations? Lauren Cohan told Entertainment Weekly Radio,

“I don’t know if that puts us more at risk of dying or less … It’s such a necessary hope and I definitely feel that invisible bridge between Glenn and Maggie the whole time of trying to find each other, and needing that.”

With so much loss everyone has gone through, connections to other human beings is one of the few things that may keep the survivors from giving up. It is understandable why Maggie and Glenn are working so hard to find each other.
