'The Walking Dead': What is Mary cooking on the grill?

The season finale of "The Walking Dead" is almost here and there are a lot of rumors and spoilers circulating the Internet. On episode 15, which aired last week, Maggie and Glenn's group made it to Terminus and there they were greeted by Mary, who was cooking something on the grill. On March 28, Cleveland.com posted a few sneak peek clips of season 4, episode 16 and there is a glimpse of something other than food on the grill.

Warning: If you do not want to know "The Walking Dead" season finale spoilers, then stop reading.

One of the sneak peeks has glimpses of a lot of different characters and scenes. Very briefly a grill is shown, the same one that Mary was cooking on when Maggie and Glenn's groups entered Terminus. On the grill is an object that looks like a gun. One end of it has a metal loop sticking out. It was a quick flash so it's hard to be certain, but it appears as if the plastic covering over one part of it is gone and the grill bars are darkened. Perhaps the plastic part was melted off? A hand was reaching to grab it and although it's hard to tell who, the person was wearing a gold ring, had light skin and the fingers were slender and long. A few seconds later, the same hands were holding the gun out in the woods.

If this is the case, then the rumors that Terminus is actually a base camp for the Hunters, a group of cannibals, could be true.

Of course there is always the possibility that someone was just using the grill as a hiding spot for the gun, but that doesn't make much sense. Survivors should have their guns on them, not hiding them in weird places.

What do you think is going to happen on "The Walking Dead" season 4 finale? Why was there a gun on the grill? Was it left over from Mary cooking up some human barbecue or is there another reason?
