‘The Walking Dead' Valentine's Day card app lets you take a bite out of love

If you’re a “The Walking Dead” fan looking for a fun way to take a bite out of love this Valentine’s Day, have we got an app for you. On Jan. 30, Zap2It shared some info on a fun new app called “ZombieEcards.”

The wildly popular AMC show has put out an app for iOS and Android technology that lets you share your love of the zombie apocalypse with your loved ones in a, er, romantic way. The app draws on some of “The Walking Dead’s” most horrific walkers in a variety of poses and holding flowers, of course.

The cards are captioned with traditionally romantic phrases like "Give me your heart" and "Let me take you out for a bite." Somehow in this context, they seem to take on an entirely different meaning.

The app is free and gives you lots of options. You can mix and match the one-liners with messages of your one. You can also import your own photos and use the ‘Dead Yourself’ app to create a zombie image of yourself. There are endless possibilities for someone who wants to have a little fun or has a creative streak.

The second half of season 4 of “The Walking Dead” returns to AMC on Feb. 9.
