The opening credits cinematic to Activision's first person action adventure, "The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct", has been leaked. The credits were heavily inspired from the AMC television series as it features the same music and opening style. The locations seen during the credits are presumably from the campaign.
"Survival Instinct" takes place just outside of Atlanta and follows two brothers, Daryl and Merle Dixon, before they joined up with the survivor group. Players will take on the role as the crossbow-wielding survivor who is trying to reach the supposed safety of Atlanta. Unlike Telltale's comic related Walking Dead game,"Survival Instinct" will be based on the AMC television series and is considered a prequel to the show.
Last November on the Playstation Blog it was announced that actors Norman Reedus (Boondock Saints) and Michael Rooker (Jumper) will be lending their voices as brothers Daryl and Merle Dixon from Robert Kirkman's hit TV show, The Walking Dead.
The title will arrive in stores on March 26 in North America and on March 29 in Europe for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii U, and PC.
