'The Walking Dead': Steven Yeun discusses season 5

Not too long ago there was a rumor that Glenn on "The Walking Dead" was killed off on the first few episodes of the upcoming season. It was revealed later that the character was very much still alive since he was seen at the filming locations of later episodes. This doesn't mean he is safe on the show, though. Even though deaths cannot be revealed, there are other details that can be discussed. On July 14, E! Online posted what actor Steven Yeun had to say about the show and what to expect in season 5.

Regarding "The Walking Dead" season 5, Yeun couldn't say too much. However, he did reveal that the group is evolving and things are going to get really brutal. He also said that Team Prison isn't a group to be messed with anymore. As fans know, the group has been through a lot and people can only take so much. From what Yeun said, it seems that they might have finally reached their breaking point.

The group is going to get out of the train car, but the website asked the actor at what cost. He simply replied that he isn't sure that everything will be shown on television screens. Lauren Cohen, who plays Maggie said a very similar statement recently in a teaser video posted by Vulture magazine. Yeun also added,

"I remember a couple of scenes I would look over at what was going on in the scene and I would be like, ‘What the eff? What are we doing? How is this legal? It's grounded and real, too; it's not like torture or gore for no reason. It's literally, that is what would happen and we are trying to show it. It would not work on network television, let me tell you that."

Most of the group was reunited on "The Walking Dead" season 4 finale when they found themselves in the train car together. There were a few characters missing, such as Beth, Carol, Tyreese and baby Judith. Some fans have speculated that in season 5, the group will end up separating once again, but viewers will have to wait to find out for sure.

What do you think of what Steven Yeun had to say about "The Walking Dead" season 5? What theories do you have on what will happen when the zombie series returns to AMC in October?
