'The Walking Dead' spotlight on actor Norman Reedus

Norman Reedus has played Daryl Dixon since the premiere of the popular zombie drama since premiere of the show in 2010.

Daryl is a very popular character who appears on TV and online talk shows regularly to explain situations on the show. Always appearing at the last moment to save another character is one of his specialties.

Norman Reedus Hollywood career in a nutshell.

Norman's first role in Hollywood was a lead part in the film "Floating" in which he starred along with Chad Lowe.

Reedus then played Jeremy in the Guillermo del Toro science fiction film "Mimic." However, it was his co-starring role in "Boondock Saints" that solidified Norman's place as a Hollywood fixture.

Reedus went on to do such films as "Blade II, Deuces Wild and Pandorum."

His TV credits include, "Charmed, Law and Order, Hawaii Five-O and Cigarette Burns," director by John Carpenter for the "Masters of Horror" TV show.

Norman also starred in the sequel to "Boondock Saints" which is entitled "Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day."

It was in "The Walking Dead" that gave Norman the part of a lifetime as the dependable Daryl Dixon.

Norman Reedus is a fan favorite in TWD and appears at such events as "Comic Con" in San Diego every year to help promote the show.
