On Sunday’s episode of “The Walking Dead” Season 4, “Isolation,” the person who burnt Karen and David’s bodies was revealed. Being an original character, the fate of the killer is not an easy one to decide. WetPaint Entertainment discussed what comes next. Note that spoilers are ahead if you missed “Isolation” or are not caught up to “The Walking Dead.”
The person responsible for the crispy bodies is Carol, surprising many fans. Carol sure has come a long way from the first season. She went from being too scared to confront her abusive husband, to killing Karen and David, dragging their bodies outside and burning them.
While Carol showed some regret when Tyreese asked her to keep an eye on his sister, those feelings were gone when confronted by Rick. The sheriff asked if she was behind this and she replied with a short and simple, “Yes.”
About the consequences, “The Walking Dead” comic creator said, “There's definitely going to be huge repercussions coming from that.” He continued with, “I don't think Rick anticipated this danger that was inside the prison to be revealed to be someone they were so close with… the outcome of this is going to be something that none of them have been expecting and none of them could have prepared for. This is going to go in a pretty interesting direction.”
Whether Rick decides to let the rest of the gang in on this secret, Carol isn’t going anywhere any time soon. Sources have spoiled that Melissa McBride was spotted filming episode 13. Unless she was working on a flashback, our best bet is that she’ll be around until at least the last episodes of Season 4.
“The Walking Dead” Season 4, episode 4 “Indifference,” airs this coming Sunday, November 3 on AMC. If you can't wait to find out what happens next, like us on Facebook and follow us on Twitter to catch the latest spoilers on your newsfeed!
