‘The Walking Dead’ spoilers: Season 3, episode 14 ‘Prey’ (Photos)

The Walking Dead” is only three episodes away from the end of season three. Episode 13, “Arrow on the Doorpost,” had the Governor sit down with Rick, gearing things up for the grand finale. On Monday, March 11, AMC released three promotional videos for episode 14, “Prey,” that reveal more spoilers than meets the eye.

If you have kept up with all the spoilers released here, you would know the synopsis to all the upcoming episodes, and the clips revealed by AMC confirm those spoilers. Here’s the synopsis for “Prey” in case you missed it: “The Governor chases a fleeing dissenter. While the Governor is gone, a traitor tries to sabotage his plans.” An old synopsis last year for this episode was: “The Governor attacks the prison, a big battle starts. Rick is seriously injured. Daryl must make a decision.”

Now, taking a look at one of the promotional videos for “Prey,” fans can tell that the dissenter and traitor are most likely Andrea and Milton. Fans are speculating that Andrea will probably head over to warn her prison friends since Milton tells her to – therefore, Milton would be the traitor. In the clip though, Andrea tells Milton that she can’t just leave and wants to kill the Governor herself. So it is still not for sure if she will be the one leaving or not. In another small clip Andrea is warning Tyrese and Sasha about the Governor, and in another scene Tyrese tells the Governor, “I hope we didn’t complicate things.” Could Tyrese have gone to the Governor to tell him what Andrea told them? Fans just want to see Tyrese on Rick’s side already!

One of the clips also shows Tyrese possibly fighting with Rick at 26 seconds. Some fans are saying that the one with him isn’t Rick, but Allen. They also point out that it doesn’t look like a fight, and that Tyrese appears to be helping either Rick or Allen. Perhaps Rick is hurt – hence the ‘Rick is seriously injured’ synopsis snippet.

The last clip is rather disappointing for fans, as it shows the tough looking Tyrese not being able shoot a gun to save his life. Looks like he better stick to using his hammer and tools. The brother/sister bonding with Sasha is fun to watch though.

About the synopsis reading, “Daryl must make a decision,” fans still think that this has to do with Merle. In “Arrow on the Doorpost,” Merle tells Michonne that him and his brother have hunting signals, and can go down to Woodbury and take care of the Governor themselves. After Rick tells the group that they’re going to war, Merle gives Daryl a look, which Daryl appears to respond with a light nod. Will they be going down to Woodbury, or follow Rick’s orders?

Bonus speculation: Some fans are saying that the burning body in the picture above looks an awful lot like the Governor (because of an illusion that he is wearing an eye patch). Many quickly turned down this possible spoiler though. It's highly unlikely that it's the Governor for two reasons: Would AMC really give it away just like that? No. And the Governor won't be dying next episode, that would be a fail.
