Spoiler titles and synopses for “The Walking Dead” episodes 12 and 13 were released early January. On Wednesday, Feb. 17, however, Spoil the Dead forum revealed brand new titles and descriptions for the episodes. Note that spoilers are ahead if you are not up-to-date with “The Walking Dead” season three.
Episode 12, “Clear,” was previously titled “Good as Dead,” it has been long known though that the title has changed. Earlier this week, a new synopsis was released, including major spoilers about what will be happening in the episode, who will make a surprise appearance, and more. Fans can read all about that here.
Episode 13, however, is all brand new information. It was announced in January that the episode will be titled “Aftermath,” but the source is now stating that episode 13 is titled “Arrow on the Doorpost.” The episode’s description is as follows: “Rick and the Governor contemplate a peace treaty.” While the description is only one sentence, it tells a lot.
“The Walking Dead” fans have been speculating what this peace treaty the Governor and Rick are working on will be. In episode 11, “I Ain’t a Judas,” Glenn tells Rick that they should try and give up Merle to the Governor, in hopes of a peace treaty. Rick doesn’t reply, but he can be seen nodding. Could this possibly be the deal Rick will try to make? Other fans disagree, saying that Rick would never do that to Daryl, even Hershel thinks they should keep Merle around.
The previously leaked synopsis for episode 13 was: “After making a tough decision, Rick has arrived back at the prison, and someone in the group is missing. The Govern or plans to attack the prison.” Just because there is a new description out, does not mean this one is falls. In fact, they kind of go together. The tough decision could be referring to the peace treaty Rick and the Governor discuss. Their plans might not go as plan, and the Governor will carry on his plot to attack the prison.
