"The Walking Dead" is ready to return to AMC, and now fans are being given new inside scoop on the fourth season from an executive producer involved with the series. On Thursday, Oct. 3, From Inside The Box shared new comments made by Gale Anne Hurd. The cast photos for season four are from Buddy TV. Check out those by visiting the slide show, and check out the previously released photos for the season four premiere here.
Fans will see a very different series during season four. Rick will have the biggest to his character. He will focus his attention on his children after seeing what path Carl was taking during the season finale. Hurd revealed the following about Carl and Rick:
"At the end of last season, he got to see the direction that Carl was taking. I mean, he really had become a child soldier, and a child soldier who could kill another young man. That's not something that Rick could have imagined happening, and I think it was a huge wake-up call for him."
Hurd also teased more about the new threats the survivors will face as they try to make a home for themselves. With new threats come new allies as well. As for The Governor, he is not gone, but Hurd would not reveal when fans would see his return.
"The Walking Dead" will return to AMC on Oct. 13.
