The Walking Dead” star Norman Reedus is revealing how his character, Daryl Dixon, feels about Rick banishing Carol on the show, Wet Paint reported on Feb. 26.

According to the report, Norman sat down for an interview and dished on Daryl’s feelings towards Carol’s absence.

“We worked on that scene, and it was written a little differently before we shot it—it was written so that it was explaining to me what happened, and I was upset about it, but I understood, and I kind of just moved forward,” Norman said.

“Scott Gimple, Greg Nicotero, and I worked to make that conversation open-ended; like we were done having that talk, and wanted to wrap it up in a nice little bow, so to speak. You know I’ll always have Rick’s back no matter what, and we’ve all done things in the world that are inexcusable, but we’ve all been pushed to do things that we would never had done in a normal circumstance,” Reedus added.

“The Walking Dead” star also revealed that Daryl needs to “process” Carol’s actions, but that he’s not done talking about it, and that he’s “not happy” about his friend’s banishment.

Since Daryl is still upset with Rick about making Carol leave, it should be interesting to see how it all plays out when the group finally find each other in the future.

Will Carol be welcomed back with open arms, and how will Tyreese react when he finds out that she killed Karen and David?

What do you think should happen next with Rick, Daryl, and Carol on “The Walking Dead?”
