On Sunday, October 20 Wetpaint Entertainment posted a synopsis and new spoilers for "Isolation," the third episode of the fourth season of "The Walking Dead," which airs Sunday nights on AMC. The episode title indicates that the new illness that is sweeping the prison will be causing major problems for the survivors as they take precautions to make sure no one else dies. The official synopsis is listed below:
A group leaves the prison to search for supplies; the remaining members of the group deal with recent losses.
The synopsis reveals that more that one person dies in the episode "Infected," and the remaining survivors have to figure out what to do in the aftermath. This might be the first appearance of the new council that decides everyone's fate, after Rick stepped down as the leader. Rick will have to step up again as the threat of death gets worse. This episode also sets up a dramatic supply run that might includes several episodes since so many people from Woodbury are taking shelter at the prison and Baby Judith needs special supplies.
From the season preview and previous spoilers its known that several people die early in the season either from walkers or the deadly illness that killed Patrick in the first episode of the season. Images released for the episode show Carol Peletier (Melissa McBride) inside a cell and Sasha is staring at something in the yard looking worried.
"Isolation" will air Sunday, October 27 at 9 p.m. on AMC. Tune in to see who the illness affects and how the survivors deal with the loss of life. The episode was written by comic book writer and executive producer Robert Kirkman.
