Laura Perusco has provided some comments in regards to several questions surrounding the recently-announced, “The Walking Dead: Season Two.” The community lead at Telltale Games responded to a few fan inquiries about the second season of the adventure video game through the comments section of the Playstation Blog on Oct. 30.
One of the fans asked if Telltale Games will be willing to port the downloadable title over to the PS4. Laura Perusco replied by saying that the company has not yet announced any plays for next-generation platforms. However, she also stated that the studio is “pretty excited” with Sony’s new console. You can check out the first screenshots from “The Walking Dead: Season Two” in the slideshow near the top of this article and her comments below:
We haven’t announced any plans for next gen, but everyone here at Telltale is pretty excited about the possibilities that PlayStation 4 offers!
The community lead also confirmed that the PS3 and Playstation Vita versions of the upcoming title won’t support the cross save feature. However, she did hint that players should keep their save filed from the first season if they plan on playing the second one on the same platform. You can take a look at the statements below:
- Season One doesn’t support cross save, so if you were to switch over to PS Vita for Season Two, you’d be starting with a fresh slate.
- If you’ve already played Season One on PlayStation 3, keep your save file!
The first episode of “The Walking Dead: Season Two” will be released sometime later this year. Laura Perusco stated that the company is still finalizing the launch plans when asked if the video game would arrive at the same time on the PS3 and Playstation Vita. The same title will also be released for the iOS, Mac, PC, Xbox 360 and other unconfirmed platforms.
