The first episode of “The Walking Dead” has wrapped up filming! Wet Paint revealed the good news on Friday. Not so fast though, the episode will have to go through special effects and all that jazz. Not to mention, there are 15 more episodes to go! October can’t get here soon enough.
News of the first episode being complete came from Chandler Riggs (Carl Grimes) during an ask.fm chat. The young star was asked, “How many episodes for season 5 have you already filmed?” To which Chandler replied, “Just 1, we start 2 today.”
Episodes are not always filmed in order, but in this case the episode that wrapped up actually is the first one. “When are you going to finish filming the first episode of season five?,” another fan asked. “We finished yesterday,” Chandler replied. Check out ask.fm for all of the questions Chandler replied too – mostly to fan girls.
Not many spoilers have surfaced for the upcoming season. It’s a bit too soon. Earlier this month though, fans learned that Seth Gilliam will be joining the cast. A short character description has led many to believe that he could be playing Father Gabriel from the comics.
Also this month, fans were not happy to hear that Robert Kirkman believes “The Walking Dead” would be lucky to make it past Season 7. This is because he believes they should only continue if they have a good story to tell.
Lastly in “The Walking Dead” Season 5 rumors, speculation on how Rick and his group will be escaping Terminus surfaced. According to the source, the group will be using walkers to their advantage. Somehow, the walker herd that Daryl came across with will be making its way to Terminus and the group will take that opportunity to make their escape! We’ll see if that’s true.
The five month wait continues. “The Walking Dead” Season 5 will premiere on AMC sometime this coming October. Can pictures and spoilers hurry up and leak already? The suspense of the Season 4 finale is killing us! Check out all of the spoilers, as we learn them, on your FB newsfeed and Twitter!
