Rumor has it that "The Walking Dead" season 5 will feature “The Fault in Our Stars” and “Divergent” star Ansel Elgort. His role, according to Christian Today on July 23, will be as Andrew, a character destined for a romantic relationship with Beth Greene.

The rumor seems to have originated with a picture and post on Twitter @TheWalkingNews on July 21. The pot shows a ‘scared’ Elgort about to be attacked by a zombie. The tweet says, “@AnselElgort of TFIOS will be playing Andrew in Season 5 of #TheWalkingDead who could have a 'thing' with Beth!"

Andrew is a confirmed character for season 5 of the series but neither Elgort nor AMC have confirmed that he will be playing the role. He would seem a better fit for her than Daryl but we may have to wait and see.

Beth is, as far as we know, still missing. She was abducted by someone in car near the end of season 4. Though Daryl looked for her, she did not reappear before the season ended.

Emily Kinney, who plays Beth, hinted that her character will be back in season 5. "I think just that first...just seeing how the group is going to get out of the situation they're in is going to be really exciting and really crazy and a roller coaster and I think just right out of the gate that first episode is going to be really fun," she said according to Latin Times. She also remarked that the premiere is definitely something to look forward to, adding that fans will finally get an explanation as to what happened to her.

Showrunner Scott Gimple has also stated that Beth’s fate would be revealed in season 5 of “The Walking dead.” Creator Robert Kirkman has also backed up this idea.

'The Walking Dead' Season 5 is currently filming on location in Atlanta. It is set to air in October at AMC. We hope to have more information for you after the cast and showrunners appear at Comic Con on Friday.
