Filming for Season 5 of “The Walking Dead” began last week; the cast and production are now working on bringing a new season to AMC! As usual, with the start of shooting comes rumors, spoilers, and a whole lot of speculation. On Monday, “The Walking Dead” Reddit forum posted the latest speculation on how Rick and the gang will escape. The Spoiling Fans page also revealed several photos of “The Walking Dead” Season 5 set. Spoilers are ahead if you are not caught up to “The Walking Dead.”
Season 4 of “The Walking Dead” left us with a nail-bitter finale! Most of Rick and the group had a bittersweet (mostly bitter) reunion, as they were trapped inside a train cart by the members of Terminus. How will they get out of there? Are Carol and Tyreese close? Where in the world is Beth? Well, we just might have the answer to at least one of those questions.
The source revealed a rumor, which they claim came from some walker-extras, on how Rick and the group will escape. According to the forum member, the group will be using walkers to their advantage. Somehow, the walker herd that Daryl came across with will be making its way to Terminus and the group will take that opportunity to make their escape.
Of course, this will cost the lives of more than just Terminus residents. After all, it’s not like the walkers are there to save the day. Walkers are there to eat, and that includes anyone they can get their rotting teeth on. Who in Rick’s group do you think will go? There have been so many deaths that everyone left is a major character! We don’t want to see anyone go!
Could this rumor be true? Terminus did fire a lot of shots when they led Rick, Michonne, Carl, and Daryl to the train cart. That certainly made noise loud enough to capture the attention of any walkers around the area. And with the surprise arrival of Rick and the others, Terminus is too busy to pay attention to other threats. This new rumor sounds very possible.
Also, I think it’s safe to say that Rick and his group are “professionals” when it comes to walkers. Terminus, however, while they might be good shooters, don’t exactly look like they have been out of their secured fences in a while. “The Walking Dead” Season 5 premieres this October on AMC.
